Install/Update/Reinstall VMware Tools menu is disabled for the following Linux virtual machines: I have tried, with the virtual powered off, to set some System Hardware settings, but they are greyed out: Pass host power supply status to the guest, Accelerate 3D graphics, and under USB - Enable USB 2.0 support. I also checked that the VMWare USB Arbitration Service is running. They always have all the USB devices greyed out. I have tried switching the hardware settings to USB 1.1, USB 2.0, and USB 3.1. I installed it using the easy install option. Workstation Player is 10.3.10 and will not be updated. The desktop version of LTS releases for 10.04 and earlier were supported for three years, with server version support for five years. I cant connect any USB devices to my Ubuntu 20.04 Guest OS.
